Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including a motor vehicle record check for the previous 36 months, and pre-employment DOT drug screen.Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS) knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation is highly desired.Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extreme temperatures.Must be able to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays.on a regular basis, and may involve lifting and maneuvering up to 65 lbs. Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the position which require the ability to lift and maneuver 20 lbs.Must be fluent in English, and able to communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.Must be located in Anchorage, Alaska or be willing to relocate within 30 days if not already residing within one (1) hour of Anchorage.Must be authorized to work in the country without employer sponsorship.Must have a valid US Passport and the ability to in an out of the US, including to Canada.Must not have a record of any FAA ‘Certificate Action' or ‘Administrative Action' within the prior 30 months.Must have completed the ATP CTP course and completed the written exam completion certificate a current ATPL is preferred. Must meet the applicable Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) minimums as specified in 14 CFR Part 61 for either an ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP).They must also be willing to live and work within one hour of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The successful candidate has excellent customer service skills and team member qualities, in addition to the required certifications and experience the position requires. The First Officer reports to the Chief Pilot and is accountable to the Pilot In Command (PIC) for flight-specific duties. The Ravn Alaska First Officer safely operates Company aircraft according to regulations, as well as established policies and procedures.
